Wednesdays are the New Fridays for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“Loki” star Tom Hiddleston has announced that his Disney Plus series is extending its release date by two days to Wednesday, June 9. and “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier†followed.
Breaking up the character of his fan-favorite Loki character, Hiddleston broke the news to Marvel fans in a video.
“I’ve noticed that in these long superhero montages, Loki tends to be a bit left out, although he’s arguably incredibly heroic himself – cunning, charming, I could go on. But maybe… why don’t I prove it to you. Wednesdays are the New Fridays, â€he said.
“Loki” follows the favorite god of all mischief after the time travel shenanigans he experienced in “Avengers: Endgame.” Disney Plus series trailers show Loki being recruited by a mysterious organization called Time Keepers to fix the flow of time and several alternate realities.
The show comes from head writer Michael Waldron and director Kate Herron. It also stars Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant.
While Hiddleston mocks in his video, Marvel just released a long superhero cutout on Monday, in which the titles of the “Black Panther†and “Captain Marvel†sequels were revealed and the first images of “Eternals†were revealed. been unveiled.
